Hydrotect tile
Hydrotect tile
Due to the decomposition power and hydrophilicity of photocatalysts, the tiles have a function that makes it difficult for dirt to adhere and easy to remove if it does stick. As a result, they possess a self-cleaning function that weakens the adhesion of dirt, allowing it to be washed away by rain, which helps reduce building maintenance costs and maintain a beautiful appearance. Additionally, the photocatalytic action of Hydrotect contributes to environmental conservation by effectively removing substances like NOx. A building using 1,000 m² of Hydrotect tiles is equivalent to the environmental benefit of 70 poplar trees (according to TOTO Ltd.). As exterior materials for buildings, Hydrotect tiles have already been adopted in approximately 7,100 cases across Japan. Hydrotect and HYDROTECT are registered trademarks of TOTO Ltd.
